We're offering 'pay as you feel' advertising to local independent traders, community groups and charities during the pandemic.
We are living through a time of great change
As the coronavirus pandemic began, we suspended the printed edition of Now Then Magazine and we are still exploring how we can return to print.
Before March 2020, the mag was mostly funded by print adverts. Although we have always approached advertising ethically, with our core values in mind, it wouldn't feel right for us to be out there selling to some of the hardest hit businesses in the city.
So instead, we are currently welcoming online advertising from any like-minded organisation which meets our ethical standards on a 'pay as you feel' basis.
This means that we are happy to run adverts from local independent businesses, community groups and charities - in return for whatever you can afford or whatever feels fair. We can also help amplify key messages and calls to action via our social media channels.
Some stats:
- Our website had an average of 15,000 monthly pageviews in late 2020 and traffic is growing each month.
- We have almost 12,000 followers on Facebook, more than 15,000 followers on Twitter, and 7,000 followers on Instagram.
Our web advert design specs are:
- 300 x 250 pixels (standard 'MPU' size).
- 150KB maximum file size.
- JPG or PNG file formats preferred. Animations (GIF) also supported.
During this tough time our guide price for website advertising is £100 + VAT for a two-week period. This price is a to be used as a guide and any contribution is appreciated.
